Windows desktop app not working

i have been using Onlykey for close to an year without any issues on windows 10 desktop. recently, the app stopped working and presents the message “working” and never moves up. i have tried uninstalling the re-installing several times to the latest version OnlyKey_5.3.4 and its the same problem. please advise how to fix this problem.
