I’ve been using OK as a hardware password device for almost the last 2 years and, yesterday, the slot password output is now wrong.
There have been no changes to my slots, firmware, or desktop software, yet suddenly the symbols are converted to numbers and the capital letters are converted to lower case letters.
Example of slot saved using this test password:
bwv4X&UQ7w65W7!z5e$4X@t@h6B69kC7gr5YeZDqV&UU#HUcq!d9&W3y
When I press the slot number this is the actual password output:
bwv4x7uq7w65w71z5e44x2t2h6b69kc7gr5yezdqv7uu3hucq1d97w3y
Running firmware v3.0.4 and desktop software v5.5.0.
How can I fix the output to retain the symbols and capital letters?
I would be happy to that if I knew how. Haven’t been able to find a single contact method except for orders and this forum, which is being pushed as the main support channel.
Do you have a support email address or other way to reach the dev team?
Are you able to test this on another computer? It sounds like the keyboard profile on your computer and/or OnlyKey may have been changed or the CAPS lock is turned on.
The OK output on a second computer, an iMac, worked normal. The slot output was correct.
On the computer in question it still converts symbols to numbers and uppercase letters to lowercase. I don’t see any configurations inside my OS settings or keyboard settings for Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS that would affect the OK.
Testing Caps ON and Caps OFF did not fix the Ubuntu slot output problem.
