Question about fixing wear & tear

For a while now I have been experiencing this black coating wear problem on the backside of my OnlyKey. The black coating has been wearing off exposing a copper layer below it. See image attached. Amazingly, it still seems to work perfectly. However, I was concerned that it might break in the future and have been wondering what the best way would be to repair this. I was thinking of painting on some black nail polish. Would this be a good solution or are there any better options or materials?

Its purely a cosmetic issue, the newer OnlyKeys don’t have that issue as there is just copper on the back side. So no, it doesn’t affect OnlyKey functionality at all.
