New to Onlykey. I followed instructions to generate a text backup file of my Onlykey. I then generated a 2nd text backup and compared the contents of the two text files. They don’t match. Is this expected? In between the two backups, I didn’t make any changes to the Onlykey contents or the passphrase.
Its probably that the backup generates a random number each time you do the backup. You can select to verify the backup in the app to make sure that the backup is all good.
I didn’t know it did that (used a random number.) Obviously something I don’t know much about! I’ll assume it’s all working as intended. Too chicken to wipe the key and try an actual restore.
