The app instructed me to choose a PIN using digits 1-6 when setting up the Duo. However, I’m not sure how to enter these when I’m using a device where the app isn’t available.
Self-replying: This info is in the app, but only when setting up the OnlyKey Duo. It should probably be in the User Manual somewhere as well. I suggest both under the heading of “On-The-Go” and under “Button Definitions”.
Touch buttons 1, 2, 3 to enter 1, 2, 3 and hold (for 1 second) buttons 1, 2, 3 to enter 4, 5, 6.
@akraut Thanks, this has been added.
Using the Onlykey application I select setup > “Set or change OnlyKey DUO PINs”, check the checkbox for “I understand and accept the risk”. I then select “Device PIN” but selecting the touch buttons does not enter in numbers. So I tried entering in a number with my keyboard but the next button is still grayed out. I have tried this in standard mode and config mode.
App. V5.3.5
Firmware 3.0.0
Are you having an issue setting a PIN on your device or Unlocking your device without the app?
Unlock with app works correctly,
now I try to unlock without the app, I understand how to enter the code, but how to finish (the “unlock” key)
You just enter the PIN no unlock button key needed
tank you for your answer,
indeed, I was making a mistake on the pin code.
With the correct one it works
Hi, I have a similar issue. I have set a pin on my onlykey duo, which contains numbers greater than 456 (e.g. 7,8,9) but I am not sure how I am supposed to put the pin using the suggested way i.e. “Touch buttons 1, 2, 3 to enter 1, 2, 3 and hold (for 1 second) buttons 1, 2, 3 to enter 4, 5, 6.”
thanks,
