PIN with numbers beyond 6

Hi,

is it possible to use numbers greater than 6 and to use 0? If yes, how?

Marek

AFAIK, no. This is sort of like a base-6 security pad.

  • 6^1 = 6
  • 6^2 = 36
  • 6^3 = 216
  • 6^4 = 1296
  • 6^5 = 7776
  • 6^6 = 46656
  • 6^7 = 279936
  • 6^8 = 1679616
  • 6^9 = 10077696
  • 6^10 = 60466176

So if you use a 10 digit PIN, there are 60M combinations. 6 times better than a 7-digit decimal PIN.
