We are testing a couple of OnlyKeys on computers/notebooks we use for work. We noticed even when the computers are off or sleeping the OnlyKeys seem to be powered. Via BIOS setting the USB ports are set to “always on”. Is there any disadvantage of having it this way? Would the lifetime or durability be affected?
No, you can keep it powered on this does not cause wear or decrease life of key.
