# OTP doesn't work without execute OnlyKey sofrware

Hello,

I recorded in a slot an OTP on OnlyKey DUO, when I plug my device , slot concerned generate NO SET. I noticed that slot generate OTP code only after open one time OnlyKey software …

That is correct, the Desktop app or Web app is required for TOTP:
