# OnlyKeys without backups

I would like there to be OnlyKey models without any backup functionality. Even though backups can be really useful, they introduce another possible attack vector.

This is a feature. In order to disable backups you just set backup key mode in the OnlyKey App so that no backup key is loaded and backup is disabled.
