# Onlykey instead of KeypassXC

I am considering purchasing an OnlyKey…  
Can OnlyKey replace software such as KeypassXC?

As OnlyKey only stores 24 passwords it is not meant to replace software password managers. One good way to use OnlyKey with a software password manager is to store a long complex master password for your software password manager on OnlyKey.
